Hickey Construction devised a custom fabricated steel plate stairway to lead from ground level to the floating loft, a social space where employees can brainstorm or relax.

The visual complexity of the interior, with its intersections of vibrant color and multiple angles, is softened by a thoughtful use of directed and ambient lighting augmented by natural light from skylights and windows. Hickey Construction was an active participant in the design conversation, able to step in with ideas that resolved key issues of design, technology and hard construction.

72 AND SUNNY ADVERTISING AGENCY
OWNERS, WESTLAND PARTNERS, INC.
A globally active design and advertising agency, 72 and Sunny had leased space for its U.S. offices in a circa 1950s industrial building that formerly housed an automobile repair service. Hickey Construction undertook renovation of the site, an 8,000 square foot structure, to create a corporate headquarters for the agency with a modern, ultra-hip look and feel.
